The Bodega Series, presented by Lauer Realty Group and Park Bank, is returning to Madison’s Historic Breese Stevens Field for its tenth birthday this summer.
The nighttime, local artisan market will feature four dates during the 2026 season: May 14th, June 25th, July 24th, and August 20th.
The Bodega remains true to its roots, created with Wisconsin-based, small businesses in mind, but has expanded into a celebration that market goers and vendors partake in throughout the course of the summer. The Bodega at Breese Stevens Field will once again welcome over 90+ local artisans and food vendors from Madison and surrounding areas in our beloved state of Wisconsin. Products vary from an array of crafts, handcrafted jewelry, curated boutiques, candles, soaps, unique artwork, locally sourced honeys and spices, sweet treats, savory eats, and more! Everything from the crafts to the sweet treats and fantastic eats is something you will not want to miss out on this year!!
In addition to the incredible local businesses, Bodega attendees can expect games and activities, various entertainment, live music, random giveaways, and plenty of field space to soak up the beautiful summer evenings in Downtown Madison. This summer's Bodega season will also feature an expanded kids zone featuring games and activities from Verona Bounce, Curious Crafter, The Sensory Zone and more!! Also, our friends at Daydream Design Co. will be making sure the Bodega shines bright in downtown Madison with their custom Bodega LED lights!!
In 2026, the Bodega will feature many unique themes and corresponding activities for folks of all ages. Beginning with the first date in our 2026 Bodega series, May 14th will be focused on giving back to the community featuring live music from Cassandra Kilgore and a giveaway by our friends at Tricky Foods and Wollersheim while also celebrating the Tenney-Lapham Neighborhood Association as they head into their 50th year anniversary.
On June 25th, the focus turns to the Summer of Soccer presented by Michelob Ultra with an on-field U.S. Soccer Watch Party paired with the Bodega. Our friends at Bonsai Cards are also doing a card pack giveaway for the first 50 people through the gates! Did we mention we will also be featuring Live Music from Adam Howarth? Who knows, with the Forward Madison and Rally Madison season in full swing, you may even spot a couple of players and a wild flamingo named Strut!
July 24th we just want to enjoy the summer with a special appearance by Kona Ice, a myriad of games and activities and some upbeat funk music by Corey Moody that will be sure to get your feet moving to the beat.
August 20th we give back to you as the summer winds down with a giveaway of some ice cream from our friends down the street from stellies ice cream! Make sure you come out to the Bodega this summer. We want you to be a part of the 10th anniversary of this community event and the overall 100th year anniversary of Breese Stevens Field!!
Beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available to sip while perusing the array of vendors. What began as a way to engage local vendors and crafters in a sustainable community event has blossomed into a cornerstone of Summer in Madison; a place where all are welcome to enjoy the history, culture and atmosphere at Madison’s premier outdoor venue, The Historic Breese Stevens Field.
The Bodega is a free admission event that serves the community as a platform for small local businesses to reach shoppers in a fun, relaxing, entertaining, and safe environment. Gates for each Bodega will open at 5:00 PM and run until 9:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or utilize the local parking garages available within mere blocks from the facility. Make sure not to forget your reusable bags and a collapsible wagon bag for all your sought after goods!
